The laboratory facilities include,

• Electronics Circuits laboratory
• Digital Circuits laboratory
• Pulse Circuit laboratory
• Communications laboratory
• Microprocessor laboratory
• Microwave laboratory

The department has a well developed Computer Center also.

ACTIVITIES

The department is taking up consultancy works for various industrial concerns. The students are encouraged to undertake project works in collaboration with Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) Thiruvananthapuram, Electronic Research and Development Center ( ER&DC), Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) Kochi, and Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) Palakkad to name a few. The association of Electronics and Communications Engineering coordinates the co-curricular activities of the department. It arranges lectures and technical talks by eminent protessionals. The student wing of the lEE is very active and organizes technical sessions, seminars, group discussions, etc
