Admission

Eligibility for admission

Candidates shall possess the following qualifications.

• A pass in the Diploma Examination in Engineering after undergoing regular Institutional course of 3 years. Candidates can apply only to the branch of Engineering in which they possess diploma.
• Candidates should be an engineering professional/teacher employed in a recognized educational institution or company and should be in employment for at least two years at the time of application after passing the Diploma Examination

Residency

Candidates shall be Indian Nationals either natives of Kerala State or employed in Kerala State.

Selection

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of ranking by index marks which is calculated for each person as follows:

INDEX MARK = % MARKS SCORED IN DIPLOMA + 4 X NO. OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

* subject to the condition that no marks will be given for experience below three months and maximum marks awarded in this category will be limited to 40.
